Miranda Lambert Prepares for Wedding Weekend

Author “I am so excited. Got nails touched up. One last wal mart run and I should be good!” Lambert tweeted earlier this week.
She also showed a bit of her wild side, tweeting, “Last thing loaded for the wedding!!! Harvested by….me!!!!!” and tweeted a picture of a package of deer meat they plan to serve at the reception.
According to PEOPLE, Lambert and Shelton have never been shy about their love for hunting, and have long planned on serving their own wild game at their wedding. That “is the one thing we nailed down,” Lambert said last year. “And we’re going to harvest it ourselves; that’s what we really wanted to do.”
‘The Voice’ coach popped the question to Lambert last May in the woods near her home in Tishomingo, Okla.
“Weddings are great and engagements are great and diamonds are especially great,” Lambert saidwhen the pair announced their engagement. “But I’m just excited to be married because I want to tell Blake I really can love him the rest of my life and be happy and make him happy.”

Shania Twain Reveals She Is Losing Her Voice
Twain revealed to E! Online that years of suppressing and repressing her voice and emotions had damaged her vocal cords.
The 45-year-old singer revealed that she has a condition called Dysphonia, which brings about an impairment in the ability to produce voice sounds.
The condition manifested itself when she found out that her ex-husband, Robert “Mutt” Lange, was having an inappropriate relationship with one of her closest friends, Marie-Anne Thiébaud.
She talks about how her divorce affected her and in-turn her voice. “During the course of my divorce, I dug a big hole and stopped growing and searching and had given up. I realized I had to climb back out…You can only help yourself. Others can support you. Just asking myself what I was going to do helped make a place for optimism. You start to isolate yourself in your own misery.”
Twain reveals, “I had reached a point in my life where there was a bottleneck, physically, in my throat. Something had to give.”
She said that since her discovery, she is now on the road to recover her lost voice. “I’ve only just discovered what’s wrong. Next comes rehabilitation, which will take a long time. Physical rehabilitation, voice therapy, learning how to breath again…and the singing will come.”
Recently on ‘The Oprah Winfrey Show,’ Twain talked about how she felt during her darkest days. “I never contemplated killing myself. But certainly there were moments where I didn’t want to live. I wouldn’t have done anything about it, but I just lost my will to live. But I can understand why people do. Living in silence is very painful.”
Twain has since moved on with her life and is now married to Frederic Thiebaud, the husband of her former friend. The couple got married in Rincon, Puerto Rico, on New Years Day 2011.
Twain wrote on her blog of Thiebaud, “I’m in love! Frederic has been a true gift to me as a compassionate, understanding friend. Over time, an amazing love has blossomed from this precious friendship.”
Pink Floyd’s David Gilmour and Roger Waters Reunite Onstage in London (Video)
The pair previously announced that Gilmour would sit-in with Waters for one song at an unspecified date during Waters’ current, worldwide ‘The Wall Live’ tour, which was based largely on Pink Floyd’s 1980 ‘The Wall’ tour. Most people assumed that the collaboration probably wasn’t going to happen during the U.S. leg of the tour last year.
The moment that everyone had been waiting for came — and passed all too quickly — on Thursday (May 12) at the O2 Arena in London.
NME reports that Gilmour joined Waters onstage for a rendition of ‘Comfortably Numb.’ It was the first time that the pair performed together publicly since Pink Floyd briefly reunited for just three songs in 2005, as part of the massive Live 8 benefit concert, which was simulcast live around the world. Gilmour and Waters did, however, perform four songs together last year at a private benefit concert in front of just 200 extremely lucky guests.
London’s O2 Arena is making good on its stated intention to eclipse New York’s Madison Square Garden as the most famous and prestigious arena in the world — the O2 was also where Led Zeppelin chose to reunite, also for one show only, in 2007. And it was also going to be the home of Michael Jackson’s ‘This Is It’ comeback run in 2009 which, of course, tragically never happened.
The reunion between Gilmour and Waters was suspiciously timed — it came during the same week that Pink Floyd launched a massive reissue and archival release campaign, which will feature a virtual treasure trove of unreleased material from the band’s heyday. No matter — when it comes to anything Pink Floyd, the more news, the better.

Lady Gaga Reveals Her Fashion Inspirations
John, who recently named Mother Monster thegodmother of his baby son Zachary, quizzed the shape-shifting, style-savvy singer about her favorite wardrobe items as she put posed for an avant garde photo shoot to accompany the editorial piece.
Gaga tells John, “I’m mostly inspired by shapes, and using the body to create iconography. Leather culture and high-street punk fashion. I would say perfecto jackets occupy most of my fashion thoughts.”
Not surprisingly, the superstar claims that “there are no rules” when it comes to picking out her outrageous outfits and freaky fashions. The girl knows and loves the major designers, but also likes vintage and lesser known labels.
She explains her wardrobe selection for her runway show of a music video for ‘Judas’ saying, “We were laughing on the set of the ‘Judas’ video. We had 50 racks of couture and I wore leather, Motorhead panties made of a vintage T-shirt, custom from young designers who are my friends, my own creations, and archive Christian Lacroix from a museum.”
Ke$ha Blasts Conan With Her Infamous Glitter Gun
Party-girl pop star Ke$ha made a wild and crazy appearance on ‘Conan’ last night (May 11), during which she made out withConan O’Brien’s fake beard, talked about her bizarre obsession with quarters and showered the late-night talk show host with some glitter love.
A super bronzed-up and disco glam-looking Ke$ha sat down for an interview with the funnyman and discussed, what else, glitter. The ‘Blow’ singer proceeded to fire a confetti gun, which she jokingly claimed she carries around in her purse, in Conan’s face.
The singer went on to express her disappointment in Conan for shaving his beard, admitting, “I love putting beards in my face and in my mouth.” Ke$ha, known for her high comfort level with all things sexy, continued to reveal her intimate fantasies to the host before she eventually slipped in the subject of her music, and showed Conan how to play her favorite instrument.
Heather Mills in Ski Accident While Training for Paralympics
The former model and prosthetic leg user sustained a fractured right shoulder blade in the accident and was airlifted by helicopter to a hospital in the southern city of Lienz, a hospital spokesman said.
Local broadcaster ORF spoke to Mills, who said she crashed into a plastic pole that had apparently turned rock-hard because of the cold conditions.
“That’s skiing, you know,” she said.
According to the AP, Mills was released Thursday morning and is expected to make a full recovery. It’s not clear if she’s still in Austria or is heading back to her native Britain.
Mills recently bought a house in southern Austria and is reportedly training to compete in the 2014 Paralympic Winter Games.
It was reported earlier this week that Mills’ ex-husband, Paul McCartney, had become engaged to marry a third time, to businesswoman Nancy Shevell. The Macca-Mills union ended very very badly and cost him about $48.6 million in the divorce settlement.
Nick Cannon Surprises Mariah Carey With New Mom Bling
The necklace features Moroccan’s name spelled white diamonds and baby girl Monroe’s name in pink sapphires — boasting more than four carats. Ringing in at $12,000, the bling was the least Cannon could do for his wife who carried their two bundles of joy for nine months.
“Nick was really excited about the babies’ names and wanted to do a piece with them for Mariah’s first Mother’s Day,” jeweler, Jason Arasheben told People. “Pink sapphires are bright and bold and diamonds are always so classic.”
But Cannon didn’t take the easy way out when it came to designing the bauble.
“He was bleary eyed, looking so tired but so happy — all smiles, saying he wanted to design something special for Mariah’s first Mother’s day,” Arasheben said.
This new dad is definitely making the grade.
American Idol’ Censors Lady Gaga’s Provocative Footwear
The shoes, by London brand Void of Course featured a clear Lucite heel molded in the shape of a penis. According to TMZ, producers had to cover the explicit shoes, which run for over $4,500 a pair, with an ‘Idol’ logo.
Gaga appeared on last night’s ‘American Idol’ as a mentor to the remaining contestants, and while most of the hopefuls were excited to get pointers from the megastar, there was at least one who was less than thrilled. Lady Gaga had the ultra conservative Scotty McCreery squirming with some of her comments, including likening his microphone to a girlfriend who wants him to stick his “tongue down [her] throat.”
